To add a link in Adobe Illustrator, follow these steps:

1 Select the text or the elepent you want to link.
2 Go to the "Window" menu and select "Attribute" to open the Links panel.
2 With the object still selected, chose rectangle option In the New Hyperlink dialog box, paste the URL you want to link to in the URL field.

And you are done.

To test the link, export your Illustrator document to a PDF format, and click on the linked object or text in the exported file to verify that it works correctly.
